Forget what you’re told
\nthe world isn’t all sunshine,
\nthe world isn’t all rainbows,
\nIt’s bitter, it’s cold.<\/p>\n
Many an old eyes carry a thirst
\nof a day of glory,
\nof a day of victory.
\nThey burn with blood-lust.<\/p>\n
Look as you pass them.
\nTheir overflowing bank accounts,
\ntheir countless hounds,
\nto them, it’s just a game.<\/p>\n
The want of power,
\nis a desperate desire.
\nFlowers that shall blossom tomorrow
\nare but… a satire.<\/p>\n
Everywhere you’ll see terror.
\nIt’s been placed there,
\nby the ones above you, burn it!
\nBurn it for the wayfarer.<\/p>\n
Remember, remember,
\nthey control your day
\nthey control your body
\nBut your thoughts, they can’t dismember.<\/p>\n
Burn them! Though…
\nThey’re not against you
\nThey are for themselves.
\nYou… are not for you
\nYou are… for them.<\/p>\n
So when they speak of a light
\nthat night that shone
\nThey’ll fear the power of one man
\nIt was… your Vendetta
\nYours… and Yours alone!<\/p>\n
